Coston Dorsey
Senior Partner
Coston Dorsey, a Washington, D.C. native, has over thirty (30) years of experience as an educator and business owner with strong faculty management and technical acumen. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a certified project manager (PMP). His best capabilities are in information technology communication, project management, computer networking, threat hunting and analysis, penetration testing, red and blue teaming, database management and design, systems design, IT security and systems’ architecture. Coston has formal training in Oracle, Windows NT & 2000, MS-SQL and project management. Outside of computers, Coston's other hobbies and interests include photography, music, reading, weightlifting and combating homelessness by helping chemically addicted adults in their recovery.

By 1984 a friend of mine from high school and I were teaching federal employees how to use computers in the local computer store to help pay off the costs of the hardware we bought from them,” Coston.

Brittany Alexander Customer Success Manager
Brittany is our Customer Success Manager at Cyvergance and supports our cybersecurity education and consulting programs. She is the first person students, apprentices, and customers interact with so her job is a critical one. Brittany has impeccable client-service and support skills. She is a dedicated professional with 10+ years in Healthcare and Information Technology. Known for having a growth mindset and attention to detail, Brittany makes it a priority to consistently provide superb customer service to prospective and current clients and employees and help maintain the quality of service throughout their customer journey with us.
Brittany is proud of obtaining the Certified in Cybersecurity certification by (ISC)² and looks forward to attaining the Security+ and CGRC certifications as well. Her goal is to mitigate cybercrime while assisting individuals and companies to reduce risk and increase compliance. She is an ambitious and results-driven professional that now has expertise in network security, systems security, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) having attended and graduated from the Cyvergance.AI Spring 2023 Cybersecurity Analyst Internship Program. Her degree program also focused on cybersecurity and IT. Brittany possesses strong interpersonal skills, works well with cross-functional teams, and has excellent customer relations and presentation skills. She has also managed internship teams and has a proven track record of success. Our company could not function without the likes of Brittany Alexander. David Mottern Chief Information Officer
David is our CIO who manages our entire corporate governance, risk, and compliance program and supports business development activities for Cyvergance. He is a professional with a remarkable career spanning over 18 years in the fields of Business Administration, and Project Management. In 2021, he made a pivotal decision to embrace the dynamic world of cybersecurity, showcasing his adaptability and eagerness to explore new horizons. Throughout his career, he has amassed a diverse skill set, encompassing network analysis, digital forensics, project management, budget analysis, and program/project scheduling. As a natural communicator, he has excelled in establishing clear channels of communication to drive successful project outcomes. His technical proficiency was put to the test during the 2023 Cyvergance.AI internship program, where he served as a team lead. In this capacity, he guided and mentored his team, demonstrating a passion for knowledge sharing and fostering growth in others. One of his standout contributions lies in his role as a driving force behind the governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) control initiatives and implementations within his respective group. He recently graduated from the Cyber Defense Certification Program at the University of Central Florida (UCF) under Anna London's tutelage while she was a professor at this university teaching this 10-month cybersecurity curriculum. In both professional and personal spheres, David stands as a testament to the limitless possibilities that arise when one combines passion, experience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Erik Daniels Security Controls Assessment Team Lead
Erik is a solid professional with over twenty (20) years of cumulative work experience in customer service, medical claims, and insurance audits. Utilized NIST SP 800-53A Rev. 5 to review policies and procedures as part of ongoing risk assessment Cyvergance.AI systems. Adept at analyzing insurance claims to deter fraud and determine root cause. Maintained evidentiary artifacts using the CIS Controls Self-assessment Tool (CSAT). Participated in POA&M management and risk remediation. Used advanced methods of identifying indicators of compromise through conducting analysis of vulnerability and log reviews of 270 systems.
Brian Perkins Program Manager
Brian is an exemplary example of what every leader should learn to emulate. He has oversight and management of our entire SOC program. The SOC Leads report to him and Ian Rodovsky to share this huge weight of responsibility. From day one, Brian fully embraced learning and immersed himself into our hands-on programs to become familiar with NIST, ISO, CMMC, and CIS controls in order to help bring our organization into compliance. He is a strong and effective communicator and works well with cross-functional teams. Brian has also thrived as a SOC Team Lead over our 365/24/7 Security Operations Center and briefs his team’s weekly activity report (WAR) at our weekly ITCCB meetings which includes recommended risk remediation actions. He is a seasoned professional with decades of project management experience supporting the health care industry.
Lance Rosengarten
SOC Shift Team Lead
This is Lance, one of our team leads here at Cyvergance.AI. Lance started in our spring 2023 cohort and graduated with honors as well as awarded with “Intern of the week” and the “Extra Mile Award.” He continued on with Cyvergance.AI and continues to support our SOC and GRC teams.
Lance brings 12+ years of experience from sales, customer service/support, project management, IT, and cybersecurity. With a passion for all things tech, in 2021, he decided to change career paths and pursue cybersecurity. In March 2023, Lance obtained his Certified in Cybersecurity by (ISC)2 and in October 2023, obtained his Security+ certification and continues to deepen his knowledge in the realm of cybersecurity.
Cameron Cleveland SOC Shift Team Lead
Cameron is a cybersecurity professional with experience building security programs. Through hands-on projects he has become familiar with cyber risk management, security operations, threat intelligence, identifying and mitigating attack vectors, and reducing exposure to cyber threat actors. Through hard work and training he gained the title of SOC Lead. He is capable of identifying countermeasures to reduce the likelihood and potential impact of an attack on an organization. Cameron has the ability to manage security training programs and user education with a proven customer service background.He has in depth experience assessing technical security risks associated with environmental changes on new and existing technology related to different business sizes/structures.
Marlon Hyun Program Operations
Marlon is one of our internship Program Operations Leaders that supports SOC and GRC personnel management for Cyvergance. Mr. Hyun boasts an extensive background in spearheading large teams in the dynamic and fast-paced restaurant and hospitality industry. He has an unparalleled talent for effectively managing stressful situations, delivering prompt results under tight deadlines, and judiciously allocating resources to his teams.
His impressive skill set encompasses many areas, including Python, C++, Java, as his degree program specialized in coding. To further his passion for cybersecurity, Marlon attended and graduated from the Cyvergance.AI Spring 2023 Cybersecurity Analyst Internship Program where he is now a growing expert in hunt analysis, network security, systems security, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), strategy/analysis, threat intelligence, and log detection. Marlon's unwavering focus on achieving results has fueled his continuous growth and development within his field and has placed him on a ladder to success.
Marlon demonstrated exceptional leadership skills as the team lead for the admin/moderator team during the Spring 2023 Internship cohort. He successfully supervised the onboarding migration of a 270-person cohort and expertly managed the work of 30 cybersecurity intern project teams. Marlon's dedication to his craft is evident in his associate's degree in computer programming, which serves as a testament to his commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Marlon is an entry-level cybersecurity engineer with exceptional leadership abilities to continue to learn, remain humble, and help lead teams towards meeting successful outcomes. He has since become active in participating on our SOC Team and has become a mentor and guide to his fellow team-mates. Marlon also lent his hand in the design in the CYU logo you see featured on this website for our Cyvergance University course offering.

Kevin Wilbur
SOC Shift Team Lead
Kevin is a cybersecurity professional and trusted advisor with experience building robust security programs. He possesses a deep understanding of how cyber risk management, security operations, and threat intelligence are applied across numerous industry sectors and organizations. He is adept at identifying and mitigating attack vectors, reducing exposure to cyber threat actors, as well as identifying countermeasures to reduce the likelihood and potential impact of an attack on an organization. Kevin also has experience in a cross functional capacity with procurement, IT, Systems and Network, MIS, Customer Service and other teams to assist with the security analysis of potential vendors and products.
Ian Rodovsky Program Manager
Ian is an experienced cybersecurity professional with over 14 years of comprehensive expertise in cybersecurity, information technology, sales, and customer service. Proficient in utilizing the NIST 800 series guidelines, CMMC, and ISO 27001 standards to enhance and implement comprehensive compliance programs, ensuring robust assessment of systems and architectural security controls. Skilled in developing Plans of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following thorough security assessments. Demonstrated excellence in communication, effectively conveying complex risk assessments and cybersecurity concerns to senior leadership, fostering informed decision-making processes. He is our SOC program manager alongside Brian Perkins. The SOC Shift Team Leads report to him and Brian Perkins as this is a huge undertaking, especially managing the SOC environment, role-based training, shift schedules, and incident response.
